so much better then before, and if one of them falls on a sibling
now, it is more of a pounce, and definitely not an accident.
That's because they are playing with each other, and attacking
one another is all fair game in the role of puppyhood. Their
baby teeth are very sharp and at times, one of the pups will get
over enthusiastic, and his playmate will give out a loud YELP,
letting the other know to "cut it out, that hurts". They have
become very noisy now, barking, throughout the day, for no

Picture 1: This is the first time the puppies are eating solid food. They are not too sure how to eat without sliding all over the place into it. This is a mixture of oatmeal, ground Fromms Puppy food yogurt, goats milk, and vitamins. By the time they are 5 weeks they will be able to eat whole morsals.

LEFT: This is the first time the puppies are drinking water. They have mastered eating the food quite well, and now to tackle drinking the water.
As you can see in the second picture, they seem to have it down pat.
Yes, there really is a big bowl of water under that big mound of fur.

reason but I am sure that if they could speak our language, or we theirs, they would tell us a good reason why.
In just the last couple of weeks they have been introduced gradually to solid food starting with the soft mixture, I mentioned above,
to the present, where they are eating the solid kibble puppy food that they will be eating, when they leave here. With the gradual
increase of their food and liquid intake, Brazin's milk supply is gradually decreasing. She is only letting them nurse for very short
bouts of time, mostly when she goes in the box to clean it up after their meals. When the pups do leave here, she will only have a
very small amount of milk being produced. She may still let them have a quick drink, but if she does, they really won't be getting
very much. It will be more like a comfort food for them. We all know about that. Ice Cream-yummy.
It is becoming very hard to take candid pictures because, the pups are so alert, that as soon as someone enters the room, they are
up and about, running toward the person, hoping to get greeted and picked up. Oh, OK. I will. Oh, how I suffer. lol
I am introducing them to many of the strange noises that they will be hearing when they enter the real world. I made a recording of
numerous sounds, like thunder, car horns, vacuum cleaners, fireworks, and the like. I play this frequently for them. This will help
them to be familiar with these noises, so when they do encounter them, they will be somewhat accustomed to them.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU VIEW THE PICTURES IN THE ROTATING FRAME, FOUND AFTER THE PUPS INDIVIDUAL PORTRAITS.
Much has happened in the
last couple of weeks to and

they have grown so much.
